Santa Clara University occasionally hires Edward as a part time instructor to teach a studio art course to undergraduates
of the College of Arts & Sciences. In 2005 the artist taught a 5 unit summer course in Durham, England entitled "Painting
nature with waterolors". In 2004 he taught a 4.0 unit course entitled "Drawing From Nature" which was sponsored by Santa
Clara University's Environmental Studies Institute and he has been asked to teach this course again in the summer of 2007.

and tour guide. Courtenay is Edward's first cousin.

Edward worked for the Asa Wright Nature Centre in the early 1980's and continues to visit the centre on his tours.
The Nature Centre preserves a rare colony of Oilbirds in a cave on it's property. It is a world class eco-tourism destination
and contributes greatly to conservation and environmental education in Trinidad and Tobago.
